REFRESH, TOP-UP YOUR DRINKING WATER

The municipality of Ostravice, with the contribution of funds from the state budget of the Czech Republic form the programme of the Ministry of Regional Development, built three new resting sites at the cycling trail. During the expansion of the infrastructure of the local cycling trail the municipality built new benches, bicycle stands, public bicycle pumps and drinking water taps. Visitors will find these at three locations in the municipality, and they are intended for cyclists, tourists, families with children or mothers with prams. All these visitors will no doubt appreciate the chance to rest, wash their hands or refill water, and even inflate their bicycle, pram or wheelchair tyres. The bicycle stands enable secure locking of bicycles, so visitors can visit, for example, tourist information centre, shops or restaurants. A total of three locations were selected in relation of the cycling trail. The resting sites were built at the Petr Bezruč bridge, TJ Sokol playing field and at the bus stop by the fountain. We trust that everyone will like these new resting sites and make full use of them.
